Our factory is situated a few kilometres outside of Kanpur, on National Highway 27.
The building is five years old, originally a footwear factory, it is ideally suited to saddlery.
Our working conditions are excellent, gone are the days of over crowded work environment, that was once associated with Indian manufacturing.
All production areas have ample natural light, with an integrated cooling and cross ventilation system in place for the hotter months.
Outside we have an extensive kitchen garden, where vegetables are grown for the benefit of the work force.
We are very aware of the environmental impact of manufacturing, where possible we use locally sourced leather but due to the high standards our customers demand, we do import a large selection of European leathers.
All of our tree’s are moulded locally, along with the metalwork, gullet-plates, stirrup bars, etc.
Plus all our moulded parts, knee-blocks, etc, are also from local suppliers.
As with all manufacturers of leather goods, we do accumulate a large amount of leather off-cuts, we now repurpose these and produce a range of bags, purses and pet accessories.
The remainder is recycled into leather board, which is used in the footwear industry.
